In public places, guiding and warning signs, as well as nameplates on equipment or buildings that have explanatory attributes, not only convey information in daily life but also serve as important identifiers for communicating brand image or concepts. There are many materials used for making signs or nameplates, such as corrosion-resistant stainless steel, lightweight acrylic, brightly colored two-color plates, and uniquely textured high-end wood or leather.



If there are requirements for the precision or permanence of such identifiers, then laser engraving is undoubtedly the best processing method. Traditional processing methods such as screen printing, chemical etching, or mechanical engraving have many drawbacks. Screen printing has complicated production procedures, the ink easily peels off, and it has characteristics of low efficiency and poor durability; chemical etching causes severe environmental pollution and seriously deviates from today’s concept of environmentally friendly manufacturing; mechanical engraving has low precision and produces mechanical stress, which can easily damage the processed material.


Laser engraving has extremely high efficiency and flexibility. According to the design file, it can easily and efficiently engrave complex patterns and text, making it suitable for small-batch customized production. Since laser engraving involves no physical contact and produces no mechanical stress, it is very suitable for processing brittle or flexible materials such as leather or acrylic. In addition, the marks produced by laser engraving are corrosion-resistant and high-temperature-resistant, achieving permanent identification. Compared with chemical etching, laser engraving is also more environmentally friendly.



Shenyan’s self-developed Galvo Vision Laser Controller — ZJS716-130. Compared with ordinary laser controllers, the Galvo Vision Laser Controller can achieve high-precision processing of complex patterns while ensuring processing efficiency, accurately presenting every detail of the identifier. With integrated engraving and cutting, the engraving and cutting of signs can be easily completed on a single device.



The Galvo Vision Laser Controller uses galvanometer and XY-gantry flying-linked technology, combined with precise visual positioning and graphic recognition functions, to achieve precise cutting and engraving of ultra-large-format graphics.


The Galvo Vision Laser Controller can automatically correct the galvanometer and quickly complete galvanometer calibration; with 16G of large storage space, it supports offline operation and stores a large number of processing programs.


The Galvo Vision Laser Controller integrates encoder technology and adopts an interferometer data compensation mechanism. In addition, the Galvo Vision Laser Controller supports manual adjustment of local galvanometer correction parameters for flexible optimization of local processing accuracy; it also supports compensating for errors that may occur during processing, ensuring ultra-high consistency even during long-term continuous operation.


At the same time, the Galvo Vision Laser Controller supports Shenyan’s newly developed EtherCAT Laser Controller. Compared with traditional pulse control, the EtherCAT Laser Controller can simplify wiring, enhance reliability and stability, improve anti-interference capability, and effectively avoid stuttering and lost-step phenomena.
