From the “civilization hard drive” that records and transmits culture to the modern commercial signage that showcases brand identity, marble engraving—an ancient and enduring craft—runs through the entire history of human civilization. It is not merely the physical act of “engraving patterns on stone,” but also carries humanity’s profound needs across multiple dimensions, including practicality, emotion, art, spirituality, and cultural inheritance. Because of its qualities of permanence, beauty, and symbolic meaning of strength and immortality, carved marble has been widely used in various fields such as garden landscapes, religious architecture, commercial signage, and customized handicrafts.
Unlike the time-consuming and labor-intensive traditional hand engraving and mechanical engraving, the emergence of laser engraving has enabled an efficient transformation from digital design to artistic expression on marble surfaces. With its digital, high-precision, and non-contact characteristics, laser engraving holds core advantages in many application scenarios.
Traditional hand engraving relies excessively on the artisan’s craftsmanship, making precise replication difficult and resulting in high labor costs. Mechanical engraving cannot achieve high-precision processing of complex patterns. Laser engraving, however, can accurately achieve perfect replication of complex and delicate designs. From digital files to surface engraving, laser engraving can operate efficiently and fully automatically, and digital design allows repeated modifications. This makes it suitable for customized, standardized, and mass production, enabling personalized marble crafts to enter commercial and everyday life at an affordable cost and with faster speed. Laser engraving is a non-contact process with no mechanical stress, so it does not damage marble the way mechanical engraving does, greatly reducing the defect rate.
Galvanometer Dual Flight Vision Laser Control System ZJS716-130 developed by Shenyan, compared with ordinary laser controller, ensures processing efficiency while achieving high-precision machining of complex designs, accurately presenting every detail of a logo.
This laser controller adopts galvanometer and XY-gantry flying-linked technology, combined with precision visual positioning and graphic recognition functions, enabling precise cutting and engraving of ultra-large-format graphics.
Automatic galvanometer correction enables rapid completion of calibration; the 16-GB large storage capacity supports offline operation and stores a vast number of processing programs.
This laser control system integrates encoder technology and uses interferometer data compensation mechanisms. In addition, this laser controller supports manual adjustment of local galvanometer correction parameters for flexible optimization of localized processing accuracy; the Galvanometer Dual Flight Vision Laser Control System also supports compensating for potential errors during processing, ensuring ultra-high consistency even during long-term continuous operation.
At the same time, the Galvanometer Dual Flight Vision Laser Control System supports Shenyan’s newly developed EtherCAT control system. Compared with traditional pulse control, EtherCAT control simplifies wiring, enhances reliability and stability, improves anti-interference capability, and effectively avoids stuttering and step-loss issues.
Application Fields:marble engraving, stainless steel engraving, glass engraving, two-color plates, fabric cutting, wood processing, automotive parts, computer casings, acrylic engraving, electronic auxiliary material processing, as well as leather processing in multiple fields.
